Great Turnout at Wooden Spoon Wales Golf Day
After a gap of 2 years due to COVID , the Wooden Spoon Wales Golf Day returned to Whitchurch Golf Club in Cardiff for the 5th year.
On one of the hottest days of the summer, 16 teams competed for prizes & bragging rights.
The winners were Penguin Wealth , followed closely by Amodeo 2nd & Blake Morgan 3rd.
‘Nearest the line’ was Emma Jenkins of Jenkins Best, Dean Smith of Watkins & Gunn ‘nearest the pin’ & AVA CCTV for ‘carrying’ their yellow ball all the way round.
The Tee challenge (playing horizontally off a 4 ft tee ) produced much hilarity but was mastered furthest by Mike Preece of KCS Transport.
Many thanks to all who attended & raised £3000 for stirring smiles in disadvantaged children in Wales.
