Kent rugby club golf challenge raises over £10,500

Wooden Spoon Kent hosted an amazing day with 31 4ball teams competing. this year. By restricting the handicaps to 85% of the course handicap with a Max of 28 for men and 36 for ladies it made for a much closer contest.

The same format of the best two Stableford points to count on each hole was used, with a shotgun start at 09.00hrs.

Swanley RFC 96 points 1st, Westcombe Park RFC 95 points 2nd & Cranbrook RFC 94 points 3rd, followed closely by Dartford Valley RFC, Park House FC & Sheppey FC all on 93 points.

The exceptional camaraderie between the rugby clubs made for a wonderful atmosphere in the clubhouse. Adger Brown, MC/Auctioneer, kept everyone amused and was brilliant with the auction.

Altogether a great day with over £10,500.00 raised for our projects for vulnerable children in Kent.
