Chilterns golf day raises £8,000 for local vulnerable children

Last September saw the delayed 18th Wooden Spoon Chilterns Golf Day take place at Whiteleaf Golf Club.

Sixteen teams battled for the team prizes, but most importantly the day raised almost £8,700 for Wooden Spoon Chilterns.

Uniquely, this event takes place with every player taking his seat at dinner wearing a Wooden Spoon tie. Mark Williams, who organises the day, commented that the Whiteleaf Golf Day has become a staple diary event for both the club and the region, with over £150,000 raised in the 18 years.

The Wooden Spoon Chilterns Whiteleaf Golf Day will take place on Thursday 24 March 2022, with twenty teams already committed to this great fundraiser. If you would like more information or want to take part, click here.
