Festive fundraising for Wooden Spoon!

Here are a few festive fundraising ideas for you to get involved with and help make a real difference to vulnerable children and young people.

Organise a Christmas Jumper day

Set a date for a Christmas jumper day at work and ask everyone to make a small donation to take part. You could also hold a competition for the best… or worst jumper!

Host a Christmas Bake Off

Get friends, family or colleagues to bake their favourite festive treats and crown the winner! You can then sell the tasty bakes at work, school or your sports club, to help raise much needed funds for vulnerable children this Christmas.

Help us find new Wooden Spoon Members

By Wooden Spoon Membership as a Christmas gift for a friend or family member who would like to make a difference. This is the perfect gift for that very hard-to-buy for person in your life!

Gift your time

Become part of your local Wooden Spoon volunteer group. Not only will you be helping to create positive change for vulnerable children living near you, you will also become part of a friendly community in your region. Get in touch by emailing regions@woodenspoon.org.uk

Secret Santa

Instead of spending £10 on a Secret Santa present, ask your colleagues to set the limit at £8 and have everyone donate that extra £2 to Wooden Spoon.

New year, new challenge!

Up for a fitness challenge? We’re asking you to complete 40km every week in January. If that sounds a bit too much you can always team up with a friend to tackle the challenge together. Find out more or sign up here.
