A successful first golf day for Wooden Spoon Cumbria

GOLFERS took to the greens of the stunning course at Lancaster Golf Club to support Wooden Spoon Cumbria golf day on Friday 24 September.

It was the first golf day that the region has held and those who were there had a great day playing a Texas Scramble format.

A dinner and drinks was enjoyed after the golf back in the club house before the day was brought to a close with the prize giving, raffle and silent auction.

Wooden Spoon Cumbria look forward to hosting future golf days to raise funds to support children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage in the local community.
