Participate in a virtual challenge and raise money for Wooden Spoon

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic many charities, including Wooden Spoon, have experienced postponed events and fundraisers, generating a huge loss in income. However, we have decided to launch virtual challenges for you to take part in from home as an individual or household.

You could choose to set yourself a monthly challenge, see how many rugby ball passes you can do in one minute or even break a world record. Find out how to get started here.

Use our ready made challenges or create your own and get as creative as you like, for example, walk the distance between the Principality Stadium and Twickenham (that’s 141 miles!) in one month by just strolling around your local area.

The Strava app also offers a range of ready-made running, walking and cycling challenges that you can choose, which you can connect to your JustGiving fundraising page, find out more here.

Whatever you do, Wooden Spoon appreciates any donations and fundraising opportunities at this difficult time, to help us support vulnerable children who need our help more than ever.

Our team at National Office will be sure to give you support on your challenge, and will answer any questions you have. You can email us at charity@woodenspoon.org.uk.

Wooden Spoon would love to see your creative fundraising challenges so please make sure to send us pictures on social media by tagging @charityspoon on Instagram or Twitter or mentioning our Facebook page.

Visit the virtual challenges page now and get involved in raising valuable funds for vulnerable children near you.
