Second year Giro D’Capitale bike ride for Wooden Spoon

Over 50 riders took part in the 2nd Capital Law Giro D’Capitale charity bike ride, which raised money for Wooden Spoon Wales. The fundraising challenge took place over three distances – 30, 50 and 70 miles – to allow everyone to participate at their own level.

After a hearty breakfast, courtesy of Capital Law, the riders took off at various intervals, over three challenging routes covering north Cardiff & the Vale of Glamorgan.

All riders made it back safe, give or take, and enjoyed an excellent curry to recharge their batteries.

Many thanks once again to Capital Law for their generosity, and for organising the event. A magnificent £2,650 was raised for the children’s charity of rugby, which will go towards projects for children with disabilities or facing disadvantage.

The inaugural Giro D’Capitale, held last year, raised more than £3,000, and we are grateful for the continued support.
