Woodbridge School hosts gala dinner for Eastern Counties
WOODBRIDGE SCHOOL in Suffolk hosted a gala dinner to raise funds for Eastern Counties with 100 diners attending the evening.
During a sumptuous meal, the gathering were treated to a resume by Ollie Phillips about the recent Everest Challenge.
A question and answer session with the other rugby guests Tamara Taylor and the Chris Rea, ex-Scotland and British and Irish Lion international followed.
There was a live and silent auction held with some fabulous experiences to bid for. Seamus Farrelly, Wooden Spoon Eastern Counties Chairman, donated a host of rugby memorabilia too.
The evening raised £4,500 and this amount will be put to the funding of a new local project.
Eastern Counties would like to thank all at Woodbridge School for their continued support, and especially the youngsters from the school who provided great table service and bucket collecting to help swell the funds.
