Fundraising at Consett Cycle Festival

A SMALL fundraising team from Wooden Spoon Durham visited the Consett Cycle Festival to raise funds and create awareness for Wooden Spoon.

Olivia (daughter of chairman Paul Tully) manned the Wooden Spoon stall with support from her father, who also assisted Jess Cheesman raise awareness of the Climb Your Own Everest Challenge, while her brother Cam rode a 68 km stint on a static exercise bike as part of the challenge. Dean Richards, former Leicester England Lions and now coach at Newcastle Falcons, even popped over to lend his support to Cam.
