#MyEverest: 91.7 miles for Wooden Spoon!

WOODEN Spoon London Committee Member, David Haggart, has found his #MyEverest challenge for 2019! David is running three half marathons in March and two marathons – Vienna and London – in April for Wooden Spoon! As if this wasn’t challenging enough, for four of these races, David will be guiding a visually impaired person around the course!

David has been guide-running for 12 months and enjoys providing visually impaired people with the means to get out, run and conquer their own Everest. So, the money that David raises will also be used by Wooden Spoon’s London Committee to help young people from London affected by sight-loss. You can support David’s efforts by making a donation on his Virgin Money Giving page.

Every day disabled and disadvantaged children across the country attempt to overcome their Everest. We believe none of these children should face their Everest alone. We’re calling on people across the country to share your #MyEverest story and inspire others to achieve their Everest.
