Rugby and Sailing unite at Regatta

THE second Wooden Spoon Regatta enjoyed fair winds and great teamwork as the worlds of rugby and sailing united once again in a bid to raise funds to support children and young people with a disability or facing disadvantage in the UK and Ireland. Our thanks go to all who supported the 2018 Regatta and helped to raise much-needed funds for Wooden Spoon.

After a full day of excitement on the water, the winners were announced at the evening celebrations. In first place was Cox Automotive, while a crew representing Wooden Spoon came in a close second with Wooden Spoon Ambassador Ollie Phillips on board, and the team from Royal Harwich Yacht Club came in third place. Our commiserations go to Walter Lily who took home this year’s wooden spoon.
