Ballyclare RFC partner club success

CUP success for Wooden Spoon Partner Club Ballyclare RFC!

Ballyclare RFC 1st XV won the prestigious 2018 River Rock Towns Cup final in early April against Portadown 1st XV (27-6) with two tries for Ballyclare in appalling conditions.

The final was held at Kingspan Stadium and throughout the competition, Ballyclare players have sported the distinctive Wooden Spoon rugby socks in support, must be lucky socks!

Coming up soon the Ballyclare 4th XV compete in the Forster Cup also at the Kingspan. The team have also sported Wooden Spoon rugby socks this season!
