Kent dinner raises over £6k

THE Old Brewery Store was the venue for the fantastic Kent dinner which saw 110 guests enjoying a brewery tour, superb food and a great speech from Wooden Spoon ambassador, Tim Stimpson (England & Lions fullback).

Many of those attending came from a wide range of rugby clubs, most of whom are Wooden Spoon partner clubs.  Those present included:

The evening started at 6pm with a Brewery Tour followed by pre-dinner drinks in The Old Brewery Store and dinner in the same venue. Throughout the evening there was a wonderful atmosphere, super food and plenty of liquid refreshment. The rugby community at it’s very best.

The evening raised a fantastic total of just over £6,000, thanks to the raffle and auction which were so generously supported by guests.

During the evening Wooden Spoon Kent was also presented with a cheque for £703.98 by Dartford Valley RFC who did a Twelve Bars of Christmas collection in the town.
