TNT and Wooden Spoon Gallop to Aid of Riding Charity
A RIDING charity that helps children with disabilities to experience the excitement of the equine world has welcomed a new stablemate thanks to global logistics expert TNT and its charity partner Wooden Spoon.
The special delivery – a 17-hands horse – will be used by the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) to build young people’s self-esteem and confidence through interaction with the animal at Lowlands Farm in Shrewley, Warwickshire.
TNT Bob is the first of 15 horses Wooden Spoon has pledged to fund in an effort to help RDA meet a growing demand for its therapeutic services.
Daniel Vines, Director of Sales at TNT UK, said: “The work of the RDA is so important to children and we’re incredibly proud to see our fundraising efforts come to fruition.
“TNT Bob is just the first of many horses that has found a new home with the RDS and it’s great to see him settling into his new surroundings so well.”
