Region’s first charity walk

WOODEN Spoon Northumberland held its first charity walk on 30th April 2017.

It took place in warm blustery conditions. Everyone said that they enjoyed the walk, particularly the impressive surroundings and the tea provided by wives and partners of Wooden Spoon members.

Thank you to Jean and Micky Dungait for their organisation and Viscount Ridley.

The walk raised £500 which could fund a sound and touch responsive colour globe enabling children with cognitive disability to communicate with their parents for the first time.
