Golf day raises £6,000
A GOOD turnout of 18 teams took part in the Wooden Spoon Northumberland golf day at Matfen Hall Hotel Golf Club on 19th May 2017.
The weather was kind and the competition was fierce with the defending champions only achieving 3rd place despite a nett 61.
Thank you to Matfen Hall for their excellent organisation, to Dave Penny and his girls for their administrative support, to other helpers, to auction and raffle donors and the sponsor.
A thoroughly enjoyable day saw nearly £6000 raised for our good causes.
