Race Night Raises over £3400

THE RECENT Hampshire Race Night held at the Concorde Club in Eastleigh, hosted by the Metro Bank and Wilkins Kennedy, has raised over £3000 for Wooden Spoon Hampshire.

Around 140 guests attended the fun event, and Murray Jones Area Director of Metro Bank, hailed the event a great success and thanked all the “punters” for coming along and entering into the spirit of the evening. Murray announced the total raised: “With most of the funds in and bills paid, I am pleased to confirm that we raised an amazing £3,441 for Wooden Spoon. The money will be used to enrich the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children and young people in the region.”

Other race nights will be planned and details of where and when will be posted in the regional events. They are fun events, so make sure you come along to the next one to join in the fun.
