Wooden Spoon Bath Fund New Sensory Room
Wooden Spoon Bath and Bristol were delighted to help fund the building of a sensory room within the facilities at Bath Area Play Project in August. The project is a small voluntary organisation, established in 1979 as a local charity and which promotes and facilitates opportunities for children and young people to play.
Wooden Spoon Bath and Bristol granted £6,500.00 towards the new sensory room which uses lights, music and sound to create a space which can be used for therapy for children attending the centre. Bath Rugby stars and Internationals, Francois Louw (South Africa) and Niko Matawalu (Fiji) attended the event, alongside Wooden Spoon Chairman, Andrew Sheridan, declaring it officially open.
