TNT go the extra mile for Wooden Spoon
Earlier this year Daniel Vines, Director of Sales at TNT, the express delivery company, led a team of colleagues in completing the gruelling 10 mile Tough Mudder obstacle event at Belvoir Castle, Grantham to raise funds for Wooden Spoon.
This is the latest activity in TNT’s annual fundraising efforts that have seen staff taking part in a wide range of activities from fun runs, bike rides, parachute jumps to car washes and cake sales.
Now in its 20th year, TNT’s long-standing partnership with Wooden Spoon has already seen more than £3.5 million raised to support children and young people across the UK. This money has been invested in local projects across the UK which benefit children with a range of needs and disabilities. Playgrounds, educational schemes, sensory gardens, specialist sports coaching and other facilities, which help enhance physical, social or mental development, are just some of the projects to have been funded.
