Wooden Spoon Devon supports Honeylands Children’s Centre

A great opportunity was formed for Wooden Spoon Devon and Honeylands Children’s Centre when the Club Captain and Ladies Captain of East Devon Golf Club decided to fundraise for Wooden Spoon in order to provide grant funding for Honeylands Specialist Children’s Assessment Centre in Exeter.

Honeylands exists to support children aged 0-5 years old with severe disabilities. The centre has a dedicated team of highly trained specialists who identified the need for state of the art equipment in order to provide the right care and support to disabled children.

Members of East Devon Golf Club joined forces with Wooden Spoon Devon working tirelessly to raise funds for the centre. East Devon Golf Club fundraised an impressive £14,700, so with Wooden Spoon Devon’s own fundraising of £22,050 a spectacular total of £36,750 was granted to Honeylands to make their project a reality. These vital funds will make a life-changing difference to local children.
